Ok so my 1996 gtx starts and idles fine but when you punch the gas it goes to around 3500 rpms at WOT, after the jet ski has idled for 10-15 minutes you can cut it off and crank it up and it runs fine, what could this be?

What happens with a little choke at that point?
I'm also wondering if maybe there is an air leak somewhere in the fuel line.

I did use Mikuni kits but I did not replace the needles and seats but it runs fine after warmed up so I figured it wouldn’t be the carburetors

Well if the needles leak, the engine will load up with fuel while it sits, and it may take a bit to burn all of that excess fuel out. Have you looked at your plugs after it runs that way?

is The plug black and wet, or does it look like it’s soot? And is that while it’s having the problem, or after it starts running right?

That would be a big indicator. If the problem is leaking needles, the plugs will be slightly wet until it burns off the excess...

Just pressure test the carbs and see if the needles are leaking. They should hold 10 psi with the return line plugged.

Someone may need to help on this forum on how to post to the correct place but I just need help with this thing. Here we go.

I have my 1993 GTS 587 and I am not getting any spark I have changed out computer, stator, checked wires trimmed them too, checked all buttons, I feel like I have checked all I can I did check ground it is good and just to be sure I added and extra ground. Tried disconnecting the black and red wire to see if I get spark but no. The only thing I wonder is do I have to have to have fuel in the tank for the seadoo to spark. I know to run I will but is there a sensor that prevents spark if it is dry.
