Hello i own a 1995 Sea doo SPX and it has run perfect till this year , last year at put up for end of season no problems , it is totally stock no mods

this year getting it out for the 1st time and when it started oil starts pouring out the exhaust , i mean a solid stream of oil , at 1st i thought maybe it was some left over build up from sitting over the winter , but 3 starts and it just pours a solid stream out the exhaust onto the floor , it smokes something fierce too , never had either of these problems before

i did check the oil pump adjustment to be sure it was still in sync with the throttle and the timing lines line up perfectly so that has not changed

any ideas anyone? , is the oil pump itself bad?

any help is greatly appreciated if you have seen this problem before

i posted this in general by mistake and it wont let me delete it , sorry for double post

Up-date the fuel system

You winterized it, forgot to pincher off the rotary valve gear oil line. This older motors crank seals leak badly while sitting with the Oil Tank so high above the engine, that oil wept into the lower cases, every nook & kranny, now youv'e started
and its being routed out the exhaust. Go clean up the driveway! Kitty litter works.
I suggest you run a Decarbonizer like Seafoam in the first tank of gas. Then new
BR8ES *plugs gap .021. Grease your zerks, clean the four fuel filters.

ah , well thats good news im glad its nothing more serious , for sure it has plenty of lube in there cause it keeps pouring out

thans for the info
