At the end of last summer, my 1995 Seadoo SP did not want to run on the water. It would just hesitate then shut off. I'm looking to get this thing ready for the summer now that way I can begin looking for a second ski.

I have never worked on jet skis before, so I have a few questions.
My plan is to pull the carb off, rebuild it and reinstall. The original fuel lines were already replaced by the previous owner to black, so that headache is gone. However I have been doing some reading on pop off pressure, and it says to test it by hooking up a pressure tester to the fuel inlet. I saw a diagram that said the fuel inlet is the lower nipple on my carb (Super BN 38), is that correct?

Also, what would be the correct pressure to adjust it to?

Anything else I should be careful of when pulling the carb and reassembling?

Thanks in advance.
