1994 XP engine swap

I've been given a 1994 XP that is in near pristine condition except for blown engine. It died 6 years ago and then sat in a corner of a garage til now. To me it's worth buying a new motor. Any suggestions on other things I should do since I'll have the motor out? I will be replacing all the fuel lines.

Carb rebuild with only Genuine Mikuni parts, fuel selector, fuel strainer, 3/32” oil lines, pump oil and wear ring.
