Ok I have been working on this ski since the beginning of summer, we bought this ski in June and the thing was working great took it out the first time ran good then the negative fell off of the battery (terminal was lose). Got it restarted then then the MPEM died so I bought a new aftermarket MPEM for it and it was running good. Took it out was running it awhile when the battery died got it back on the trailer charged the battery and took it to autozone and advanced auto to have it tested both places told me the battery was good. Got it home went to go start it to see if it where charging, now I have no spark to the motor. Don't know where to go from here need some help on this one.

Ive had a good battery with no firing and it turned out to be the starter solenoid.
If not the solenoid, it might be the starter but I doubt that.

Someone may have to chime in here with more info...but ignition CDI module may need replacement, and there is a plastic nut on the bottom of the module that frequently comes loose or breaks. It is common practice to replace with a stainless steel nut. I have not run into this yet and some of the others here on the forum can go into more detail.

Mine has a mpem so is the cdi contained in that or am i missing something,is there a way to accurately test the coil pack and the mpem?

CDI is in sealed black box right next to battery.
MPEM as you know is in the front sealed box.
Are you putting the spark plug boots on the grounding posts when checking for spark and cranking engine over?

Rob

Mine has no black box next to the battery just the front sealed box, and yes i grounded the spark plugs on the cylinder heads.

I don't know about your model but you have grounding posts that the wires should be connected to during compression testing.
