I have 2 94 GTX's one which will not run. Symptoms- Turn over great, spark to both plugs. New fuel lines and I have confirmed I have gas flow thru the carbs and back to the fuel tank. It sounds like I have a carb issue but here is the kicker- even when I add fuel directly to the cylinders it does not run.I have already cleaned out the fuel filters on both carbs- one was plugged and the other dirty and yes I should have rebuilt them but I did not have access to rebuild kits on the weekend. Still sound like carb issues? Is there some other possibility? this ski ran fine but quit running almost overnight. Thanks in advance for your help. GW

If you add a couple drops of gas straight into the carb and it doesn't kick or anything I would look in a different direction. Sometime plugs spark out of the engine and not in, Flywheel may have sheared and spun. If you have gas, air, and a timed spark it will fire if only for a second. If you add the fuel manually with the air then the last thing is the spark. Hope I helped

Thanks chuckydoo. I sort of agree with you but I put an in-line spark checker on it and got a flash of light indicating there is some spark but the ski did not run at all. I wonder if the timing is so far off it wont fire? Anybody know how to check the timing?

Someone out there may have a good way to check this but I thinking if you rotate the engine till you get the mag side cylinder to top of the stroke and you can get it close just by sticking a pencil in the spark plug hole then on the PTO flywheel put a mark as close to the top center of the wheel as possible then when you turn it over to check the spark again it should fire when the mark hits the top of its rotation, or close. If is way off then you broke the key on the flywheel.
