1988 seadoo si?

I’ve recently picked up a 88 580 and it has a very factory looking si decal on the side rather the sp. I can’t find anything anywhere picture or information to tell me if it’s real or not I’m hoping someone can tell me here.

That looks more like a 1990 with the blue in the graphics.
Does the seat hinge up from the rear?
The Si was a dealer installed hop-up package that basically added a stainless impeller if I remember correctly.
