First off its been a while since a post but I am getting pumped for the summer. I have two stand up jet skis I bought and I am restoring and I am pumped about that as well . I saw chester frequents the site I am newly on now for my PWC, PWC Today, so hi chester if you read this. On to the Q/A's

I am curious if any of you have had an issue with the 16-18 pin harness that plugs into Ebox on the 95-I think 98 Speedsters. Mine is getting older and I have to play with it a little to ensure the key works. I drive the living piss out of my boat so that might be it but I am just curious, it has some kind of goo in there that looks a bit dirty. If I replaced the goo what is it and how much do I use. It looks like a sylicone or poly something that is a water lub for the boat. Anything will be much appriciated...If Kustom K reads this, I am saying hello.

i believe you speak of dialectric grease/lube
availabe at auto parts store
dont use to much because those connections are water tight and if
you put to much in, it can push out the seals and or pins from the hydralic pressure!!! just coat the pins with a swab
also the pin fit is important, you can pull apart the connector and gently sqeeze the round female pins a little to tighten them up
make sure the male pins in the device are straight
mud
