140mm Pump/ Driveshaft - Mystery Washer?

When I pulled the pump and driveshaft off my 1995 GTX, I wasn't really paying attention to the driveshaft when I set it down on the bench. As a result, I now find myself questioning whether not I have a washer/ spacer that came off the end of the driveshaft or if it is just a random part laying on my bench.

The parts manual does not list this washer, but it has the correct inside and outside diameter.

Has anyone seen a spacer used on these driveshafts? Pretty sure this pump hasn't never been taken apart before, so if was there, it is likely came from the factory.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.Screenshot_20200729-142042_Gallery.jpeg20200729_135118.jpeg20200729_134947.jpeg20200729_134924.jpeg

Never seen that before. All the ones I have done just have the rubber bumper directly in the driveshaft.

That doesn't belong there.

It looks like someone added it to get rid of the slop that makes these machines rattle at an idle. There should be a rubber bumper at each end of the drive shaft and nothing more.

thanks guys, I will reassemble without it (was having a binding issue anyways).

I will say this one didn't rattle near as much as my 1995 GTX, even before i put the pusher cone on.
