09 RXT 215 will not take off

The engine runs great, runs fine at idle. When engine is in running and ski is in forward the ski moves along fine under idle. When you give the engine gas to take off it will not go at all. The engine rpm does go up. I have checked the grate and found nothing blocking or in the grate. Both sides of the prop are clear also. Is there anything else i can do to find the issue before i take it to the
repair shop? Thanks in advance

Check the wear ring for excessive gap or heavy scratches.

Spark plugs.

Had it happen to me. The PWC would great on the trailer and idle fine in the water. Power up and just about start to plane and blaaah..... Supercharged engines eat the plugs. That is why you carry spares.
