I have a 2005 RXP that i am trying to get ready for the summer. On Saturday, I pulled it out of the garage, fueled it up & it started right up. Sounded a little rough while it ran for about 30-45 seconds before it cut off. Now it will not restart. Will not turn over. Brand new, fully charged battery is not the problem. I think it's the starter. How do I diagnose to confirm what the problem is???

ANY IDEAS???????

ps.......It did sound a little slow when it started up the first time. Not sure why it cut off when it did, but, the clicking noise leads me to believe it's the starter or solenoid.

Does this sound correct????

my battery had worked its way down, i had to charge it for 2 days, switching between high and low amperage, and then left it on low for 12 hours, before mine would fire back up

Yeah, the charger I have allows me to adjust the amps to several levels. I charged it on 2 amps for 17 hours. The digital lights shows the charging progress (25%, 50%, 75%, fully charged). I reconnected it, to get the same results as before.

check all connections, corrosion is a bi***, even if the wire is connected corrosion will prevent enough power to get though

Yep, checked that, too. Zero corrosion.

Is there a device I can get to connect for diagnostics??? Maybe to check the brushes in the starter??? BTW........if it is the starter, how do you get to it to replace it with it being toward the bottom of the motor???? (no room to operate & manuever)

you have another problem, a starter will not make the motor stall out the starter is in no way the motor stalled. You have another issue...sounds like if it is a bad connection some where, make sure and check every connection including your main ground. Your starting issue sounds like either the starter or a low battery, however since it stalled while running sounds like the same problem, sounds like a bad connection, even though they may look good does not mean that it isnt loose or have corrosion between it and what it is connected to.
