05 sporster le di engine cuts in and out past half throttle

hello, can any one help? engine cuts in and out at half to wot. ran good for half the day seems like starving for fuel?

It may be starving for gas do not try and run it that way untill you find the problem. It may only take 5 minutes to finish the engine off runing in a bad lean condition. :cheers:

I did run to try to clear out, it was about 1/4 or less in tank could it be from that? Thank you

Only if the pick up has a crack at that fuel level. but to be honest about it what scares me the most is it is a di model and they are known for all kind of fuell related problems. Do a search on di models and you may see what I am talking about. :cheers:
