Ok I have a 04 gtx wakeboard edition 4tec 155hp etc. Bought the ski about a month ago had to replace both computers. Just installed last one today, ski starts right up, but revs to about 4000rpm then drops to 2400, then oil warning comes up on display along with loud annoying beep. the only error code I get is p-1592 vts high voltage(which I am pretty sure mine does not have vts). Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have been working on this thing for about 5 weeks, just heard it start today. Very hot here and would love to be on lake for first time.

went back to check over everything, found the air hose connecting to throttle was loose. Tightened and ran fine

Took it to lake starts sputtering when you give gas, and OIL is on display along with buzzer. I can take out key and reinsert it will start up fine. You can rev it fine, but when you give the steady gas that is when the problem occurs.

please help

my buddies 02 GTX 4tec did that after you would change the oil, i beilive he just had to have the dealer reset the computer sensor that senses low oil. That is what seems to be happening it is going into limp mod because the low oil light is saying there is low oil. Call the dealer and ask about that i know he said after he pulled the DESS a couple times is went off. Thats my opinion, good luck!!

wouldn't low oil be on all the time? Have done some research and think maybe the oil pressure regulator maybe bad. Just not sure how to check oil pressure. And how long does it take to pull an engine.

well i think draining the oil then re-filling it triggered something and made it go off. I think once it was reset it was fine. Pulling an engine is quite a task in these 4 strokes. i would say a good 3 hours depending if you can slide the engine forward enough to get the PTO coupling disconnected.
