I keep blowing the 15amp fuel injection fuse in the mpem. the fuse seems to blow when I shut the machine off.

when the machine is running it seems to be smoking a lot and when i removed the intake pipe its soaked in oil. After running for about 30 seconds the engine starts missing.

Both these issues seem to be appearing at the same time.

I put a rebuilt engine in the machine and everything was running fine in the very beginning, I removed the intake pipe a couple times to make a couple adjustments due to water drips. no oil contaminated in the water at all.

Anybody have any ideas or recommendations?

thanks

Are the protection fuses in the correct slot?

If the fuel pump is going south, it would over draw the voltage and heat up the wires & fuse. A regulator/rectifier also causes strange things to the mpem when its going south,
and could send the wrong voltage to components. Suggest you do a physical exam of your pump & filter in the fuel canister, and buy an external heavy duty rectifier.
