Got a 2001 GTI with the 720 motor this fall. Never owned a seadoo before. Runs great wide open but doesn’t seem to be getting enough fuel around 1/4 throttle. Previous owner claims to have rebuilt carb recently. Should i trust that info or rebuild on my own. I’ve read i need oem rebuild kit already if I do. Also read that I need to change out the gray fuel lines. Will any 1/4” fuel line work? Any other suggestions for maintenance I need to do on this machine and where to order parts from would be greatly appreciated.

Rebuild the carbs (using genuine MIKUNI carb parts) - you do it, never trust somebody else's work, follow the CARB sticky post (like gospel), Replace all grey fuel lines with 1/4" black automotive lines (any type will do). Change the fuel selector switch while you doing the lines, replace the fuel filter O-ring gasket.

I've sourced all my stuff right on Amazon, but Westside Power Sports is another good source.

Patience and attention to little details will get her right again. Good luck.
