New to the forum and just bought my second ski.Just wanted to see if you guys can help me out. I just bought a set of seadoos a few weeks ago. The 01 runs great, but I am having problems with the 00 XP. The ski runs good at low rpm's, but when i pull the throttle wide open it rev's up to 4000 rpms sits there for a few seconds, and then it revs all the way up and runs good. As long as I keep it wide open it runs great. If I let it drop below 4000 and then rev it up again it will again stop around 4000 rpm and then rev up and run good. It does not seem to take as long to rev up when i just chop the trottle and then pull it back wide open, but when i do it from a dead idle it does the same every time. I checked the compression in the motor and it was 135 on the front and 140 on the back. I don't this is the problem. I was wondering if this is a sign that I need to rebuild the carbs. I know that there is diaphragms that could have gone bad, or is the carbs just out of adjustment. I know that there is a low range and high range fuel mixture screws. Any advice that you guys might have would really help. Thanks
