My transoms hydro turf got really worn and had spots starting to disappear so I started to attempt to remove it and it sticks really well.
Any suggestions about getting it up? I thought maybe some goo gone and maybe a heat gun but I don't want to damage the boat.
HOLY SHIT...The same dealer you bought it from had all these issues and you took it to them to fix and now they won't even take the boat....
I'd say it's Legal time...maybe mention that and say nothing else. Talk to a lawyer.
You just made me anxious. I had my jet pump rebuilt last season as my impeller apparently separated from the shaft. I have run it since and haven't noticed anything odd other than maybe I have like 200 less RPM total now...but what should I be looking for?
I know I am behind on this post but as I am catching up I am getting anxious/mad. And as I haven't read everything yet I may see this further down and I will edit as necessary....
However if they are claiming everything looks ok, I WANT PROOF! Ask them to show you YOUR SC and parts to prove...
My 2011 Challenger nav light has gone out.
I was looking on the warehouse site but couldn't seem to find a section for it for lighting.
1. Does anyone know what bulb I need and if I can replace with a LED?
2. Does anyone have any information about how to get the old one out? I was messing...
They stated that there is a rubber boot filled with grease that holds the drive shaft and impeller together. Over time the grease can wear out and then strip your impeller from the drive shaft. They replaced those parts plus the wear ring.
Good idea. Currently out of town but if it isn't that what could I be looking at? Starter or something more serious?
Someone mentioned that the engine could have water in it and won't turn? Is that possible and if so could them replacing my jet pump and messing something up cause that to happen?
Update for everyone. Got the boat back on Saturday and went out. Boat kicked right on. Great idle power, better than before. Basically had the whole jet pump replaced.
Problem is when I tried to leave nothing....my luck huh?
I think it may be electrical. I hear a click when I push the button...
Thanks. I actually checked that out just after I posted. The manual makes it look easier than it does when looking through the bay but I also took a screenshot for future reference.
Does it matter what I clamp with or is "hose clamp" a pretty generic thing I can get anywhere?
I've been hearing two different things about being towed in these boats.
One that it doesn't matter that if you're towed at any speed you can mess up the motor or the other that if you stay under a certain mph you should be ok.
Regardless I have been having some issues with the boat lately and...
I wish I could or I would. The pump has been corroded shut since I owned it but my service place told me that unless they suspected anything wrong then they don't have to break my bolts...well I just dropped it off today and they are going to have to!
The guy there thinks the impeller and drive...
