I have worked on all things mechanical and at least 70% of all things electrical from about the age of 16. I had to rebuild my first cars engine if I wanted to have a car (My Father and me took this on) which is where I cut my teeth at repairing things. I went on after high school to earn an A&P mechanics License and have been fixing aircraft for nearly 20 years. I have been a field service representative for Learjet and then have moved on to customer support engineering. I dont work on aircraft anymore as I have went back to school and completed my bachelors in business management so no the tinkering and tweaking I do is because I want to. I still don't mind getting in their and getting my hands dirty. Nothing feels quite as rewarding as doing it yourself and knowing it was done right!
