    I have the same model. There is no readout for engine hours, need candoo or buds. Make sure gauges and switches all work. Check wear ring and carbon seal. Checking compression is not a bad idea, but if you test drive in water, you will know if something is not right.

    I have a 2008 Utopia 205SE, I needed to purchase the 2006 service manual. They did not specifically make one for the later 2 model years. Main difference is the later years did not have the inlet cleaning system

    When in neutral, the boat will move forward very slowly. There is no real neutral. To hover in one spot, you will have to alternate, forward and reverse.

    2008 GTI fast idle - 4200

    Make sure to use fogging oil or xps lube to lubricate the throttle shaft inside the throttle body. There is a fitting on it for this purpose. Some engines have a yellow cap fitted to the plastic cover to allow you to lube it easier.
