I agree it would be worth around $1000 but it would have to be in really GREAT shape, and somebody buying it because of nostalgia reasons. A 30 year old one that runs but not in the best shape is a $500 Doo to get you on the water for cheap.
I think once I put another engine in my 1995 XP800 this spring (blew it last ride) I want to build a 951 X4. Anybody got a 1998 SPX hull near Michigan they want to part with? I like the white top/black bottom.
Awesome!! Coming along great! Yep Mike's decal kits are awesome! Make sure you use the wet method when applying them. I did mine by myself using a combination of the "dry" and "wet" method. I have a few pics in my 1995 XP800 thread.
Wow that does not sound like them at all. I haven't placed an order since last spring, was going to place an order sometime in the next few weeks. Shelves are empty at some grocery stores so maybe all retail supply is starting to take a hit.
Excellent save on the seat!! Looks awesome!! Like the work table lol, I use my pool table covered in a blanket when I do new seat covers. I think having a big work surface helps when recovering seats!
Nice work! I think somebody in the past said the Krylon John Deere yellow is a perfect match. I like the turf on the rails might have to do that to mine.
Ok I missed were you tried OEM's. Are you positive both OEM starters you tried are good?, and the rebuilt one was done properly? I once replaced a bad aftermarket starter with a "know" good OEM and it worked for a few weeks then it died (same thing cranked slow with plugs in). Put another OEM in...
