53 year old with way too many hobbies and interests, but I have a project sailboat I need to let go and have a fellow with a Seadoo Speedster SK who is interested in trading with me. So I've been trying to find out as much as I can about the boats. I live in SW Florida and we have lots of shallow water around here. I think the jetboat might work out well for us here. I've driven an older Sea Rayder and a friend's Yamaha with twin motors. I drove a Checkmate jetboat years ago and, though fun, was unimpressed with the economy and just the way it handled. It seems that these modern little jetboats work a whole lot better and are a lot more fun.
