Water valve setting

I can't find the stock setting for the water valve on my 98 gsx lim. Anyone know what it is supposed to be? Right now the raves are out and the water box is in but the book says the raves should be all the way in? It just says the war box is set at the factory and not to touch. Trying to see if I can get my Rpms closer to 7k.

If the rave caps are all the way out, screw the water regulator cap in.

So do the opposite if I screw the raves in the water valve should be out? The shop manual says the raves should be screwed in.
