K, now uh

Lets see about a stereo.

Do I really need marine amps and stuff? I mean. I have a car with 2 1500w amps, 260 amp alternator, t.v., all kind of sh**. But is there a difference between marine amps and car amps? I was thinking a 3 channel amp, deck, component set, coax speakers, and a single 10".

CDT Audio speakers, and a kicker 3 channel amp. But how important is it for marine...audio equipment?

Also right now I cannot find a boat for this cheap no matter how I slice it. Plus the gas mileage this boat gets is probably the best. So...even if I paid $800 in engine repairs. For $3000 I don't think I am getting a bad deal. No boat around here has this kind of "low cost package" going on. I can get in the water for $3500 and enjoy a few weekends out on it this year, put a stereo in during the winter.

Also my next question would be, are there any cheap and cool upgrades to give me more hp without making things less reliable or requring higher octane gasoline.

What do you guys do? Start cutting fiberglass with a jigsaw?

Next step...You put the DESS key on, and run the crap out of it.

Put a stereo on it later...you won't be able to hear it anyways...:reddevil:

You need a marine system to hold up to the elements of being on the water. Car audio will last a very short time as it isn't made for wet applications.

Can't do too much to get more HP out of it, rotax runs those engines close to or at their limit... but hey, 110hp out of a small 2-cylinder isn't bad!
Some people use the Skat Trak (sp?) impeller, not sure what it gets you, others may chime in.

For the stereo, definately go for marine parts unless you have it *completely* sealed in a case, it will get wet from splashing, rain, you name it.

Also, with this boat you are GOING to have some fun with it, and you WILL get wet (and so will *everything* onboard)

Have some fun, you are getting a decent price and if you decide next may that you want something bigger, you can sell it for what you bought it for or more.

There are lots of cosmetic imperfections. Seats are okay, but vinyl is messed up in a few areas. The purple rubber....thing going around the outside is scuffed up.

I definitely need a stereo in this boat though guys.
