I just started a new 800 build and the pto cylinder is much warmer almost hot compared to the mag cylinder
after running for less than a minute.
I have both low speed adjusters one turn out. Whtat’s going on?

No, and not uncommon to run hot when new. You need to get it in the water.

If a carb base gasket was leaking it would run away.

That’s often overlooked. Good job.

I like to back the idle screw all the way out then you can snap the carbs closed and you can actually hear if one is closing first then you can hear when the close together. Then rest the idle.

They do that with cranks too. So an SBT crank actually is more than an OEM from seadoo out here in California.
