How to add Genuine Seadoo electric VTS to your HX

You read that correctly, genuine electric VTS on an HX. It fits so well and there is no hacking and I used all OEM parts, not even a spliced wire. All my donor parts came from a 95 SPX or a 96 SPX, I can't remember. But, the VTS is the one with the long like 62" cord and has 3 plugs. The 787...

RESTO 1998 Seadoo SPX Resto Project

So another winter is winding down and I just picked up another resto project. Just picked up the elusive 98 SPX. Saw this on my "local" craigs. It had been listed for about a month and I really didn't need it but it kept calling my name. I also called on a 97 SPX but missed out on that one, so...

Went for a ride today on the old 'Doo.

Not shabby for a 35 year old sled with just over 1,500 original miles on the original UNTOUCHED engine. This is why I love BRP. Enjoy the ride, it's not much but it's hell of a blast. Tons of drifting, there is ice under a good portion of this snow so even with picks in the track I still...

How to remove a wear ring........the easy way.

So I got a pump a while back for free. The upside, it has a new zero hour wear ring. The downside is the impeller is locked to the shaft and it's not moving. So, I just wanted to remove the wear ring for my 95 build. So on to the procedure. If anyone wants the pump just let me know.

Just like the title says. So the other day I was grabbing the Speedster from my parents place cause we're heading out with it. So my parents drug the boat home from the shore a little over 100 miles and I went to pick it up a few weeks later and got roughly 1.5 miles from their place and got...
