yes it can be an expensive toy like any other, you either love the sport or you don't. apples to oranges.

Where are you located? I'd be interested in the whole thing if you're close to Ohio. If not close, I'd still be interested in DI engine parts. I have a couple DI projects right now.

I have some misc DI parts myself that I'd like to get rid of...,,, I'll send you a PM later today

Parting out a ski sounds glamorous, but it takes a heck of alot of time to tear things all the way down, picture, ads, dealing with tire kickers, packing, shipping...if you can get a decent offer its alot easier to sell it in one piece.

Im still 50/50 on what to do with it at this point. Its hard to know when to cut and run. Im finishing up a quad build at the moment and it will be another month or so before I really consider the ski.

Agreed regarding a part out, seems like a lot of hassle but if I don't go forward with it, I'll post up here.

I'm in Maryland by the way.

if it makes you feel any better, that MPEM will sell for $300 pretty dam quick, and that takes all of a minute to pull.

the core, if cases are intact will sell for $300 even at SBT, that's where I took mine. (of course it helps that i'm within driving distance)

Thanks for the info. Its not really about the money as much as having something that will fire and run on the rare opportunity I have to ride these days, rather than wrenching on it each time.
