WTB - sportster or speedster

Greetings from NE Wisconsin. I am new to this forum and plan to be a new Seadoo owner in the near future. :hurray: I am selling a few other toys, including two racing karts, and getting something a little more family friendly.

Looking to buy a speedster or sportster. Must be in excellent mechanical condition. I am not a very handy guy and don't have the time. Can be an older model as long as it is sound mechanically. Will spend $5,000 to $10,000.

I prefer to buy within a half day drive, but will consider buying long distance as long as you take care of shipping details and we agree that it needs to check out well with a dealer.

How many in family, and the type water condition you'll be boating at?

If 4 or more, than i suggest, if older model, the 98/99 speedsters and 18ft sportster/challenger 1800's

Good questions.

I will boat on the inland lakes of Wisconsin with my three kids, 14/10/7 yrs old and when we can be really persuasive, Mom will join us.
