I have a 2002 challenger 2000 EFI 240hp that at full throttle surges and won't go over 4000rpm .I replaced spark plugs fuel filter and water separator . I checked and it has two dead cylinders I switched coils around that did not help Checked compression that is good also . could it be the fuel injectors ?

Welcome.

First... what was the compression numbers?

Next... what do you mean "Dead Cylinders"?

my compression numbers were 125 in the cylinders and under a load i pulled the spark plug wires and two of the cylinders it didn't make difference in rpm drop

OK... compression is fine.

If you have 2 cyl's that aren't firing, then your peak RPM is about right. I would put an in-line spark tester in to get a visual on if there is actually any spark. I would also pull the plugs on those cyl's to see what they look like.

i Did that spark is good and switched coils around to different cylinders the spark plugs are new
