What are these hoses for

Since i'm replacing the gas lines this weekend with new ones, should i replace these lines that hook up in the back of the jet ski? Since the motor is torn apart right now and has been before i got it, those lines are dirty and nasty looking. What are they for?

If its not gas or oil( and i dont think they are), can i use any clear tubing?

Fantastic. Can i use any kind of hose for that? It almost looks like auto windshield wiper resavor tubing.

You can use anything you want. BUT...

1) They don't look bad to me, so why change them?
2) The water for the pee hole will get hot, so regular vinyl hose isn't good
3) The battery vent will get acid in it, so the hose needs to be chem proof.

The people i got the ski from let all the gas and oil run all over the hull of the ski when they took the head apart, so those tubes sat in the oil and gunk and the ends has all that nasty croud in them. With putting all new hoses in the front tnd and getting a new motor installed, it will all look new except for that part. So i figured i would change them so it all looks clean.

Im still looking for help in Kansas to get the new motor installed and the carbs re built. I have all the stuff, just not the knowledge to do it.
