Weedless System - C180

I have read on the forum of people having issues with the Weedless System on the C180's. They may close too far up or down, leaving the impeller more exposed than it should.

Is there a fixed grate that can be used as a replacement for a screwed up system? If not, what is the cost to replace/repair the weedless system module?

This is a common question and as far as I can tell the answer is NO there is no alternative to the grate except making a custom one or removing it entirely.

I dont like those options. Mine closes too far and if I adjust it not to close too far it hangs open.

Try and get the grate right where you want it and then pull the fuse. It'll never move again. Sea-Doo got rid of this feature because it proved to be unreliable.

Gona remove mine entirely next year and try to put a fixed grate on if possible.
