My boat tends to take on water in only a very specific set of circumstances. I have not been able to visualize the water leak with my eyes though.
It does not leak when driving around at low speeds or stationary (engine on or off).
After I am up on plane and cruising for a little and back off the throttle to slow down, that is when the bilge will turn on an pump some fairly warm water out for about 30 second.
None of the water appears to be present before that. It is not building just because I am on plane. It seems to be mostly related to being on the throttle and backing off.
What could this be and why?
