For a good one for y’all, I can’t figure it out to save my life... I have cleaned connections , checked ground and everything ...

last summer my fuse for my 1996 xp kept blowing, I replaced it, blew again.. but only when you trim up... I pulled the motor and put a new one in.. when trimming down the motor will spin and spin no problems, but as soon as I go to trim up , 5 seconds later the fuse pops ... any ideas ?

It’s the actual controller board in the trim unit. They go bad and blow the fuse and can fry the ski’s computer (MPEM). You need to disconnect the entire trim unit electrical connections and stop trying to use it.

Your only options are to get a good tested used trim unit from someone reliable like Westside Powersports Seadoo.
Set it to neutral and just don’t use trim anymore.
Or third, search Google for Seadoo Trim Fix and switch to an external controller.
