A couple of weeks ago there was an add on CL for a 2004GTI, 4-tek with a trailer for $500.00 (ski didn't run), I was the second caller, any way the seller sold the ski to the first caller. Last week the same ski was back on CL for $1500.00, it sold within an hour.

I'm very skeptical myself, but sometimes these deals are real.

These are rarely deals. 9/10 times they are definite scams. I see them every day.

If they are there and they just don't know what they are listing, I HIGHLY DOUBT they were started 6 months ago. Who stores skis for 3 years and then all of a sudden starts them up (and they run perfect) then doesn't list them for 6 months???

I mean even needing complete rebuilds, decent deal.... With clear titles on everything, that aren't stored in a filing cabinet in Nigeria because they were doing mission work there. LOL

yea, i see scams everyday too, but the reason i think this one has a CHANCE of being real is because it has a 941 phone number, and they even put it in letters and numbers to possibly avoid more spamming. Also, at least the pic has FL registration, a bunch of the cars i see for sale have out of state license plates, and has mountains and stuff in florida. I didn't even look to see if there was a 1200cc, which now I did and there isn't, but it is not uncommon for a lot of people to not even know what they have or are selling, that's even true for car salesmen. but yea i def agree they wouldn't be running perfect, but unless they need new engines, i think it's still a good deal, if real of course.

if that listing was in either srq/bradenton, ft meyers, or tampa, i'm pretty sure i saw it when it was over 1K, and i called, but then i looked up how much a new motor would cost, $1800 if not supercharged, i figured not the right project for me, plus he never called me back
