Hello folks, :D

I would like to discuss: Thru Hull Exhausts -and- WaterBoxes.

I have always had a personal preference for "Worx" products.
They seem to put a little more thought into "application"" vs. looks.
Worx exhausts are wider (ie. higher flow volume), made with silicone tube.
This, vs. mandrel bent, powder coated metal.

I see these advantages:

1 - Radiation of dispersed heat will be minimized (silicone over metal tubing)
(Important if you're running a rear intake, or external intercooler in proximity)
2 - Easy to adjust mod if/when you change your WaterBox (type/size)

So, here are my questions:

1 - If we go with a modified WaterBox, how much back pressure should we keep in the exhaust system?
Let's assume we are running a powerful S.C., with a 4" air intake. More air flow in = More exhaust flow out, but some restriction is still required to minimize unburnt gases from detonating in the exhaust system, as annoying "pop-pops".

2 - What are your experiences with WaterBox types, Riva, other Manufacturers?

3 - What performance gain (HP) can be expected from a WaterBox upgrade?

4 - What are the Pros vs. Cons with respect to WaterBoxes?

5 - What are your Exhaust kit experiences, preferences - and why?

Thanks again for your feedback! :thumbs-up::cool:
