Hey! I am new to the whole PWC world. I went to Glendo, wy about 2 months ago and have been riding pretty much every weekend. I AM HOOKED!!!! I absolutely love it! Anyways Im looking into buying a seadoo. just not sure what to buy. what to look for when I am buying a used seadoo. Just wanted to introduce myself and say whats up.

Thanks!! Ive been riding sea doo rxdi's mainly and some standups. 850 550 and 650. and a little kawa 650. and I think the other ones are 05 Gtx or Gti? big high speed skis. I love the agile ones. that's what I really enjoy. Ive been looking at a 93 spx

Go to the 2-stroke PWC section of the forum and check out the X4 thread. That seems to be the most popular "agile" model.

awesome thanks! Ok this might sound stupid. I am a fisherman at heart. is there anyway to incorporate the two? Fishing and owning and Agile ski? I know people say the "agile" ones can be tippy. I am looking for a ski that is agile fun and fast, but also has the stability to get me to a fishing hole and post it there without tipping.

The X4 models are tippy, so that wouldn't fit the bill. If you're interested in 2-strokes, try asking for suggestions in that section of the forum.

To buy 2.... One for sport, one for fishing!!!

I LOVE the performance on my Super Charged 4-trek engine. I went out two days ago and we spent 4 hours our cruising around on the skis.

It was almost to calm on the lake.

if youve been riding di's... STAY AWAY from them when looking at a ski to purchase.. theyre nice, fast machine but when one thing goes wrong with them its like a domino effect and it never runs right again...

fwiw.. the gtx have very stable hulls and are nearly impossible to flip.. would be perfect for a fishing expedition
