Strange electrical problem 2006 GTX Wake

I was having starting problems with my 2006 GTX and replaced the battery and starter solenoid. Starts fine now. However, even with the lanyard disconnected the display will still light up about every 15 secs as if it is starting. The beeping does not occur like when the lanyard is in place, but I’m worried there is another electrical problem which might be draining my battery. Any thoughts?

common problem seems to be connectors getting corrosion on the terminals. I would probably start pulling connectors and cleaning the terminals installing dielectric grease and checking cleaning grounds.
