I have a 2001 Sea Doo RX-DI which I have not used in two years, but has been stored in a fully heated garage. I decided to take it out yesterday, got out on the water, started right up, but the steering is frozen. I took it out of the water, loosened the 4 bolts to the steering column and the four screws to expose the handle bars. I then sprayed the heak out it all with liquid wrench, getting inside there as best as I can. Also checked the back steering adjustment and sprayed that too. The problem is definitely from the front though, but I just can't get it to unlock. If anyone could please help me out, I would appreciate it.

your steering is more than likely on a cable system you will need to get that lube inside the cable. this could be kinda hard. find the cable and spray everywhere you can trying to get inside it.

The steering cable is sealed to keep water out. It is impossible to get lube inside it. You will need to replace it. You could try a better spray than liquid wrench, It's called PB Blaster and works much better. Good Luck with it.
