Something is running after the power to the engine is turned off

After running my 2003 Seadoo 4 tec for approximately 20 minutes there was a long single beep and the check engine light came on. I then put the Ski back on the lift, flushed the engine with fresh water and then shut the engine off by removing the key. However, something would come on every few seconds then shut off. It was a humming sound followed by a click just before it stopped. Then the cycle would begin over and over again. The only way I could get it to stop permanently is to remove one of the battery terminals. Any suggestions? Thank you

Do you have a bilge pump installed?

Also, pull the fuse that feeds the fuel pump and see if it stops.

No, I do not have a bilge pump installed. Don't know where the fuse is, but I will try to find it. Thanks for your input.

I found where the fuses are but don't know which one is for the fuel pump. Can you tell me which one it is? Thank you

For some reason I can't upload the picture.

Top right should be 3 amp. Just below that a 5 amp (spare fuse). Then a 10 amp. The 10 amp is the Fuel Pump fuse.
