Solenoid help me

i have a 1995 spx a few weeks ago i went out it the ski. And now am trying to turn it on but it wont turn on i alrady replace the stater like a month ago how do i check the solenoid.... if some one could help me thank you

if you are talking about the starter solenoid,I just jump the wires across the solenoid and if the starter turns then its just the solenoid. if not then its the starter. simple fix though... fyi! make sure there are no gas fumes in the hull or you will experience a brief but painfull flash. lol
