Can some on confirm the size of the socket needed to remove the nut holding flywheel on a 720, it looks like a 30 mm, but before I run to sears I would like to know for sure, and if anyone has advice on type, deep, shallow, ?

If I remember correctly, it's a 32mm because I remember using my axle nut socket that i use for cars.
It's a long socket, but I'm sure a shorter one will work.

I just took mine off my 720 tonight and used an adjustable wrench, it worked fine. The nut sticks out far enough past the housing that you can get the wrench on it.

pretty sure i used a 1 3/16" on one today
yea, I have a 1 3/16" and it fits, but a bit lose, I figured it being metric the cloesest size to 1 3/16" in metric is 30 mm, it should fit tighter I hope, as hard as it was to get the PTO off I want to make sure my socket for this is the right size as to not bugger up the nut.
