Hi everyone,
Just thought I would put up a post about searching to help the site members find information easier. There is so much stuff here it's sometimes overwhelming.
In the upper right hand corner, there is a tab called "Quick Links". Click on this tab and then click on the advanced search tab. A new window will open and it gives you several options to search this site. Searching is something that you have to play with a little to make it work the way you want it to. You have to figure out how others worded things. An example would be "Single Battery Conversion". This will bring up a few threads but "Single Battery" brings up more, and "Battery" will bring up even more threads... Sometimes you have to be a little less specific and read through a few threads to find what you want but the more you use it, the more you will understand how to find what you are looking for.
If you want information right away, searching is definately the way to get it. This site has so much information, sometimes it's hard to find what you are looking for. Just keep trying different searches until you find what you are looking for.
The "Search the Forum" box will work too but it doesn't seem to work as well as the advanced search. You can also search for posts from certain members or date ranges.
Just trying to help the members find things quicker and easier.
