I have a 1997 seadoo sportster with a single 717 rotax. It starts well but quits after a min or so , then restarts and runs for a min or so. not a fuel problem. any suggestions.

Try pulling the choke out about 1/2 way or maybe slightly more and see if it continues running with some choke applied. Also, pressure check the fuel lines with no more than 5psi air pressure.

I usually open the fuel cap to avoid pressurizing the tank and disconnect the fuel line from the carburetor then blow backwards through the open line towards the fuel tank and listen for air leaks.
