Hey guys:

The check valve on the oil tank (#19) doesn't show where the line coming off the check valve goes. Does this line go on to the straight perpendicular barb on the mag side carb?

Thx!

On both my 95 GTX and 95 XP there is no hose coming off the check valve. It is just laying there on the top of the oil tank.

Thanks guys. I guess that leaves me with another question though. In the service manual diagram called Fuel Circuit, there's a small hose (#11) that doesn't show where the other end goes. This is the "straight" barb coming off the mag side carb. Where does the other end of #11 connect?

I don't know what line it is. I've got two long lines to connect, from from the fuel filter and one from the baffle. On the rear side I've got the short line that connects from the back carb to the block. But the drawing just shows that #11 hose going out to space with no connection..... What am I missing?

Thx

Bear in mind I do not have a manual for the 94 SPX in front of me. So the number 11 means nothing to me. The hose coming from the filter goes onto the fuel feed of the mag carb. The hose coming from the baffle goes onto the return feed on the pto carb. So by process of elimination the last hose must be the pulse hose and goes onto the pulse feed of the mag carb. It is also the shortest of the fuel hoses. :D

HTH,

Robert

Ok, I've figured out why I'm confused..... Thr block barb for the pulse line is in a different place on the new engine. On the old engine, it was on the front, so there was just a little 4" run from the carb to the block. On the new engine, it's on the rear side.

So I'll need to run a new line that will cross over from the mag carb's pulse barb to the block barb on the rear side. Not sure how I'll do that without the line rubbing on everything from here to there...... Suggestions?

Thx for your guys help!
