Sea doo xp 1994 hard starting

Hey everyone I got a 1994 sea doo xp with 657 twin carb. Rebuilt carbs new needle and seat adjusted HIGH and LOW screws on carbs started up fine but went to go put it in the water and wouldn’t go over 4000 rpm and wouldn’t start again.... any input is appreciated thanks!

Did you use all original Mikuni parts for the carb rebuild?

Do you still have the gray fuel lines?

If you have not done it yet read the carb rebuild thread at the top of the two stroke section. It is the best walk through for the Mikuni carb you will find.

Yeah I got the no link carb rebuild kit and the fuel system is overhauled all new lines and everything along with vent lines everything is good on that end

Did you replace the fuel selector as well?,,The adjusters should just be at factory, the pilots within 1/8 of a turn of factory, (the hi's can only be turned in 1/4 with the limiting caps).,,but they have nothing to do with your fuel starvation issue.,,,does it start well on the trailer?
