I recently acquired a 2000 Sea Doo challenger. I was tinkering with the boat. Noticed to safety lanyard wasn't working. I looked and noticed the lanyard power connection was disconnected. I reconnected and while boat was neutral removed safety lanyard. Boat continued to operate. I turned off ignition. I now after reattaching lanyard can not get the engine to turn over. I removed lanyard and pushed button while attempting to start. Still will not turn crank. Not sure why. Any suggestions?
