Hello everyone! (shortened version)

I'm not the most experienced seadoo guy (2 years), but I have done a top end on my GTX (2001 RFI) as well as a top and bottom end on my XP (1999), so feel free to speak to that level in any replies.

Both skis were run out of water at a gas station (idle) without a hose, from cold to "overheat warning" (2-3 mins), then immediately shut off and allowed to cool.

Does anyone have any advice about what may have been damaged, what to double check before taking them out again? Nothing appears to be wrong with them, but I'll have another closer look. I just want to be proactive about checking stuff so I don't wind up getting towed. The GTX had a top end 20 hours ago, and the XP had a top and bottom end 15 hours ago, both were properly broken in, so no old parts in the motor.

Thanks!

Probably no damage done other than possibly to the carbon seal. Running dry for 3 mns is somewhat lengthy.
