Elsinore, got another question.
How do I verify whether or not I aligned the Rotary Valve correctly?
I am asking because I noticed that no fuel is being delivered to the carbs. A member related that if the Rotary Valve is not properly aligned, the end result preventing the impulse valve/line from properly doing its job, providing suction for the fuel pump from the engine.
I read a Thread that suggests checking for suction and exhaust action when I crank the engine, however, another member states that the engine has to be running before and suction can be checked.
I yanked the Impulse line and when I crank the engine and observed noticeable signs of smoke exiting, however, I could not feel any suction.
Nonetheless, does that indicate that my RV was properly aligned and I should be looking for another reason that fuel is not being sucked into the carbs? (I don't want to go through the hassle of removing the RV cover because one bolt is very difficult to get to).
My Time Share is waiting for me in another week, so, time is running short.

If yes, regarding looking for another source of the problem, any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
If no, please elaborate.
