Rock intake?

I think i may have sucked in a rock through the intake because shortly after launching from a beach I can rev the engine like hell but I dont go very fast and the hood starts rattling like mad. Any thoughts?

look under ski to make sure nothing caught in pump... remove debris and try running. if still cavitation, pull pump and inspect impeller/wear ring
