Removing Engine

I am removing the engine from my 93 XP. how do i un hook the white box right by the battery. It has the big black cord that plugs into the top. I unscrewed that crd thinking that it pulled out but if you unscrew it its obviously not a wire that comes right out. I was planning on leaving this white box whatever its called on the front of the engine when i pull it out if at all possible.

That may be the electrical box that slides between the gas tank a hull, yes?

If so, you will have to open it, (be careful not to snap off the tabs) then follow the wires (inside) that need to be disconnected.
