We just bought our first boat, and 03 challenger 2000. Its also the first time we will be doig everything..driving, maintenance and the safety check list . so my some what stupud question is the boats are broken down into categories of size to determine what we must have on our boat at all times.
Theres class C (not the true name)
Which is up tp 19.8feet long
And theres class D which is 19.8feet long and higher....
Mine is a 19.9 but when you're in that class youre required to have extra things i.e flares.
if i dont have those but have everyrhing for the class thats upto19.8ft will they give me the fines for each item? Even if my boats only bigger by an inch :$
